Account and memorandum book, 1816-1820, kept by Jedidiah Morse and his wife Elizabeth Ann Breese while residing in Charlestown, Mass., principally recording money spent on clothes, books, schooling, supplies for experiments, etc. for their sons Richard Cary Morse and the inventor Sidney E. Morse. Entries also include memoranda recording the disposition of bibles and copies of religious works sold by or distributed for free, as well as money spent on postage, records of charitable donations, and various household and family expenses.
